Medtronic
A number of Medtronic divisions have chosen Clindex Clinical Trial Management System to provide the clinical trial management functionality required to support their complex clinical trials environment. Clindex has been integrated with their existing clinical data management system to give them accurate and up-to-date reporting and control of their clinical studies. Medtronic is using the Clindex Information Manager system to consolidate information used to manage each trial. Users no longer need to maintain semi-manual methods such as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or Word documents. Instead, they now access a centralized database, which enables standardized and complete audit-controlled management of critical study information.

CDC
The CDC has chosen Clindex Clinical Trial and Data Management System to support their clinical trials for the BOTUSA project in Botswana. This multi-site trial will be looking at the use of vaginal microbicides women could use to prevent transmission of HIV and other STDs. A trial in Botswana created many technical challenges; the CDC chose Clindex to provide the flexibility and ease-of-use required to manage an important clinical study in an adverse environment.
